A place where nature sets the pace
Our story
We are Angela and Jeroen. In 2019, Jeroen was diagnosed with cancer, but fortunately, he has since recovered. Our mindset did change, though. We'd always worked hard for a boss, but now it was time to be our own bosses. We took the plunge to breathe new life into the once-glorious Gerlis Campground on Mors.
We'd always worked under pressure, but we found the time to change course. A vacation should have a relaxed vibe. That's why we've chose a single price for the entire season. A low price. People work all year round for their wages and want to enjoy a vacation. We believe it's better to pay less for your stay so you can enjoy what the area has to offer, like an ice cream, a museum, or whatever you'd like to do.
A renewal in motion
After we bought the campground in January 2026, we first tackled the house so that, once the snow melted, we could turn to the campground itself. The common area, showers, and cabins were upgraded; the oil tank was removed and a modern heat pump was installed. It's our way of taking a step toward a cleaner environment.
We're also focusing on your own vegetable garden. Several blackberry bushes already grow on the property, and a vegetable garden has been planted where you can pick your own vegetables.
Sejerslev & Mors
From here, it's a great starting point to explore North Mors. Take a walk to the Limfjord or Skargaard. Go hiking, water skiing, or fishing, and a smoker is available for preparing your own catch.
What really stands out here is the wild nature. And if you get up early, you have a good chance of seeing a roe deer standing right in front of your tent.
